Official Terms & Conditions

1. Sponsor
This contest is sponsored by Alaska Food Company (“AFC”), located in Wasilla, Alaska, USA.
 
2. Contest Overview
The Alaska Food Company Summer Video Contest invites participants to submit original video content based on the theme: “Summer in Alaska – What does a quintessential Alaskan summer mean to you?”
 
3. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of Alaska, United States
   

• Must be 18 years or older at time of entry
   

• Employees of Alaska Food Company and their immediate family members are not eligible
   

4. Contest Period
The contest will run for a period of ten (10) days from the official launch date as announced by AFC.
 
5. Entry Requirements
All entries must meet the following criteria:
 

• Filmed within the state of Alaska
   

• Minimum resolution of 1920 × 1080
   

• Landscape orientation (16:9 preferred)
   

• Length between 6–30 seconds
   

• Must be original content created by the entrant
   

Limit: Maximum of five (5) entries per person.
 
6. How to Enter
Entries must be submitted through the official contest landing page and must include:
 

• Required contact information
   

• Agreement to these Terms & Conditions
   

Incomplete or non-compliant entries may be disqualified.
 
7. Prize
Five (5) winners will each receive an Alaska Food Company Snack Pack (approximate retail value: $50 USD).
 

• Prize is non-transferable
   

• No cash or substitution will be provided
   

8. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be selected by Alaska Food Company based on creativity, quality, and alignment with the contest theme.
 

• All decisions are final and at the sole discretion of AFC
   

• Winners may be publicly announced via AFC marketing channels, including social media and website
   

Selected winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification to claim their prize. If a selected winner does not respond within the required timeframe, AFC reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
 
9. Content Rights & Usage
By submitting an entry, participants grant Alaska Food Company a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, and display submitted content in any format or media, now known or later developed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Social media
   

• Website and digital platforms
   

• Advertising and promotional materials
   

• Email marketing and campaigns
   

AFC may modify or edit content as needed without further approval or compensation.
 
10. Representation & Permissions
By submitting an entry, participants confirm that:

• The content is original and does not infringe on any third-party rights
   

• They have full rights and authority to submit the content
   

• They have obtained permission from any individuals appearing in the video for their likeness to be used

 
11. Liability
Alaska Food Company is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
   

• Technical issues, platform failures, or submission errors

 
12. Disqualification
AFC reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

• Violates these Terms & Conditions
   

• Contains inappropriate, unlawful, or offensive content
   

• Is suspected of fraud or manipulation

 
13. Privacy
Information collected will be used for contest administration and winner communication. Entrants may also receive future communications from Alaska Food Company unless they opt out.
 
14. Platform Disclaimer
This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform.
 
15. General Conditions
Alaska Food Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time if necessary. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with prize receipt.
